4/29 update: New mocks added for Jonathan Wasserman (Bleacher Report) and the No Ceilings crew. Egor Demin and Carter Bryant going in the top 10 for No Ceilings. And Wass ran a Tankathon sim for his pick order with Flagg going to Charlotte at #1 and Jeremiah Fears at #5 to Washington.

What a great March Madness run–hope everyone enjoyed it! And only two games left for the NBA, with the Wizards, Jazz, and Hornets seemingly locked in to the top three spots, giving each of them 14% chance in the Cooper Flagg lottery. We have a fresh batch of mock drafts from Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo (ESPN), Jonathan Wasserman (Bleacher Report), Kevin O’Connor (Yahoo Sports), Tankathon, and your truly.

Interesting to compare the pick variance chart versus last month’s, as we see there’s a lot of agreement about the range for the top seven (and maybe even the top nine): Flagg, Harper, Bailey, Edgecombe, Maluach, Knueppel, Tre Johnson, Queen, and Fears. Meanwhile, Carter Bryant is moving up the charts due to his huge upside as a big wing. Collin Murray-Boyles also seems to have moved up a bit–KOC has him way up at #5.

Looks like Thomas Sorber and Rasheer Fleming have moved down this month, while Boogie Fland and Kam Jones are not even predicted to be first rounders anymore, being replaced by Walter Clayton, after his stellar title run and Nique Clifford. Also, some big time doubts about Liam McNeely–Wass has him at #18 and O’Donnell down has him way down at #27.

Pre-draft workout training is already starting up and it’s interesting to think through who will move up once it gets into May and June in actual pre-draft workouts for teams. My guess is that the fearsome French foursome of Traore, Essengue, Penda and Berringer (along with Hugo Gonzalez and Ben Saraf) would probably all have a good chance to increasing their stock if they could come stateside, but sounds like many of their team’s schedules may not allow it. This is particularly bad for Nolan Traore (in my opinion), who few seem to be thrilled about anymore, but may still be a top seven talent with NBA-spacing.

Keep checking back as I’ll be updating this post throughout the month and/or follow @hoopsdistillery on Twitter for update alerts.
